recording
here i will post notes on recording and music technology.
home recording has now become so easily available that it is begining to become standard for musicians,
even the main stream music has began to see self produced projects artists such as 'scissor sisters' who recorded much of their album in an appartment, the punk rock band 'blink 182' recorded there recent album at the home of a fan and the white stripes visited toerag studios (uk) to record material with a 'retro' feel.
so this stuff is becomeing almost standard knowledge.
toerag is worth a look, i read about it in a magazine they use vintage recording equiptment etc its very unique (again white stripes used it to create a retro feel and lofi sound)
ok so im by no means a studio enginer but heres some basics ive only used cubasis and adat as forms of production.
